Skye Boys
This is our Nicky: Ch. Seamist Joyful Noise, that is, and let me tell you he takes his name very seriously:-). Nick's done quite well for himself in the show ring, winning the Skye Terrier Club of America National Specialty in October of 2002, as well as many Group placements at dog shows. More about Nicky, including some win pictures from his show career, can be found here.
Here are Nicky and Duncan checking out their favorite backyard hole. They are terriers, after all. That's Bailey behind them, getting ready to remind them that she dug it, so it's hers.
Here's Duncan, also known as Ch. Silverspun Sun Chieftan, after winning Winner's Dog at the STCA Roving Specialty in 2001. Duncan also received an Award of Merit. More of Duncan can be found here.
Skye 2007
First registered in 1887, only 64 Skye Terriers were registered by the AKC in 2007. This ranks the Skye 152nd out of the 157 AKC-recognized breeds and varieties. By comparison, the most-registered breed had 114,113 registrations.
